Thirty Days of Thanks: Day 15

Day 15: My job.

On my official 2 year anniversary with Weebly (Cheers to us, Weebs!! Drinks on you.), it seemed only fitting to send out extra thanks today for the absolute adventure that has been my role as Joyologist.

Now, all of the basic points of gratitude apply here: the blessing of having a job in general, the easy commute to and from my apartment, a steady paycheck, good health insurance, a retirement account, etc etc. And while I think this perspective is healthy to maintain while so many others struggle to make ends meet, my gratitude for each and every day spent as a part of this company expands far deeper than that.

I am thankful for this team; for the family of coworkers who crack me up on a daily basis (and who sometimes, admittedly, drive me a wee bit crazy). I am thankful for their authentic spirits and courage to embrace exactly who they are; quirky, smart, silly, loving, adventurous, love-to-dance and celebrate-ers. I am thankful for their acceptance of me and exactly who I am--even on my worst days. It's incredible having coworkers who actually like your weirdness. I am thankful for the ways in which they have taught me to be more patient and flexible (still a work in progress, sorry kids), and have allowed me to make my role here very one of a kind...and very "Trish". I am thankful for their kindness and generosity, playful natures and committed work ethics. I am in awe of their talents.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything you are and everything you will continue to grow to be.  I know you will all cringe reading this hokey sentiment, but I truly believe we were all guided here, together, for a reason. What we've got going on? It's not the norm...it's rare and good and special.

OK OK I'll wrap it up....I love your guts and I am so proud to be a Weebly!
