Day 13: Dessert. Cupcakes, ice cream, cookies and milk. Cream puffs, tarts, chocolate covered anything. I love it all so much my mouth is watering at 10am just typing it. Hot fudge waffle sundaes make me purr with happy contentment like I'm back in our kitchen as a kid; french fries dipped in a Wendy's Frosty cause me to nod my head "yes" with every bite. Take me on a frozen yogurt date and I'll think you're a total catch...take me on a build-your-own-froyo (with a toppings bar) date and I'm yours for life. Decadence is a major weakness of mine. I love champagne for this reason, too--so sexy, bubbly and deliciously decadent. While I try to live my life on the simpler side in many ways, the more decadent the dessert, the better I say! (Whoa, dessert makes me rhyme). Dessert is such a simple way to experience the pleasure of decadence, I vote for indulging in it daily. OK OK, at least weekly. We do have waistlines to maintain. Everything in moderation (including moderation). I love the celebratory nature of dessert; the final touch feeling to a perfect meal. And I love the tradition behind so much of it, too. Grandma's cookies, Auntie's apple pie, every year on my birthday mom makes me x, y or z. I am grateful from the very first bite to the belt loosening last. Let them eat cake, Trish

If there was ever a more appropriate time for "preach it!"...I'd like to know
