I am not sure how B will ever top this Christmas gift. A night with my favorite ladies of all time, as presented by a couple of fabulous drag queens! "The Golden Girls: The Christmas Episodes" (live), was a hoot and a half. They did a wonderful job capturing the spirit, humor, + dynamics of this favorite foursome. And, of course, they did it with a flair only found in San Francisco. I giggled and swooned non-stop! They all performed fabulously, but I do have to give an extra nod to Blanche + Dorothy, who captured the mannerisms of their characters especially well. So grateful to experience this, and extra grateful that B was there to laugh and whisper how accurate they were right along side me. His openness to such silliness and full attention, appreciation and affection for this show makes me love him even more. We especially loved how after the show, when we got to pose for a photo opp, Dorothy proclaimed "Who is this tall drink of water?!" at him! I guess if I had to share him with anyone, it would be a Golden Girl :)    And this is the moment where Dorothy said "Kiss your favorite Girl!", then was upset as B leaned into Blanche! Naturally I puckered up for my Sophia :)  I cannot recommend this show highly enough! It only plays for a few more weeks, Thurs-Sun at The Victoria Theater. Catch it while you can!!
